My 8 year old son had been wanting this as he loves music. It is really pretty useless bc when you plug an ipod into it, the speaker quality is so bad that you can’t hear the music. Other than that it is comparable to a toddler style sound machine. We sent ours back.

I ordered this for my 7 year old who loves music and Ipod. I thought it would be a great gift. We first tried to load it onto the computer to realize it is does not work with Windows 7. Next we used the other computer that it would work with. It was frustrating and created too much work for “MOM”. I would recommend for older kids that are more experienced with a computer on loading software and getting onto websites. Back in the box it went.

This was purchased for a 12 yr old boy – he & his Mom spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to use it & decided it was more complicated than worth the time spent. It may be due to the fact he also received DSL & Wii – just wasn’t interested.

I bought this for my 8 year old son after reading all the positive reviews. We were disappointed and I immediately returned it. This might be entertaining for a 5 year old, but an 8 year old could do much more with a cheap computer program. It also feels cheap and I have no doubt that it could be broken easily. I just didn’t find a lot to like here.
