Author Blackburn brings the power of truth full circle in this wonderful and powerful book. Although the title uses the words Parenting the Children it is clear by reading the book that it is for me a fifty something woman who was one of those children. As always Dr. Meg is a no-nonsense approach to the truth that goes straight to the heart. I will first use these teachings on me, then use them on my little crystal granddaughter. Thank you Dr. Meg for this, the cherry on the Sunday!

I just received my copy of "Parenting The Children of Now". I must say it is singularly the most wonderful and perfect parenting guide for helping us move forward with more Love, Joy, Acceptance, and Happiness with our very special glorious children. I have dedicated the past 23 years of my life to working with children and their families. I have read literally hundreds of books, articles, and magazines and attended countless classes and workshops. This book stands heads and shoulders above all the rest. This is not just a parenting guide. It is a powerful hands on process to heal your own hearts and minds. In so doing we stop the negative cycles from our past from being spread and continued on within our children.

Within the first few pages I found incredible resonance. Once again the Universe has brought to me just the right lessons at just the right time. I have spent the last several years releasing and healing my past pains and struggles so that I can live a more balanced healthy life for myself and my children. Dr. Meg's exercises are absolutely incredible at finding just where I still have work to do and giving me the tools I need to continue my positive growth.

Even better Dr. Meg gives us the means to allow our children to thrive and embrace the perfection in all that they are. The one on one excercises for parent and child are so amazing. They help us to ensure that our children will have the skills and techniques necessary for them to live happy, healthy, fulfilling lives. I have tears of joy and gratitude streaming down my face as I write this. The world takes so much from our children every day. Through her meaningful work Dr. Meg has given us the way to give something so needed back to them. Together we will hold the loving space they need to expand to their fullest potentials. By giving our children back their power and their loving strength we can bring the hope of true peace back to the world.

Thank you Dr. Meg for all that you are and all that you do. We could not make these vital changes without you.

Dr. Meg Blackburn Losey's latest book "Parenting the Children of Now" is absolutely essential for every parent to read. Actually, it is important for everyone whose lives are touched by children, whether you are a teacher, counselor, or any type of professional. This is the first parenting book my husband and I have ever read that addresses our issues and how they are affecting our relationships with our children. What Dr. Meg is asking us to do is to be still with ourselves and in this stillness to honestly look within and begin to take off the layers of information and beliefs that we have acquired over the years and ask one by one, "How is this belief serving my children in a loving manner", "How is this belief serving me in a loving manner," and "How is this belief serving humanity." Her book is filled with exercises to assist in this process of becoming honest with ourselves and in turn awaken us to our authenticity. Isn't this exactly what the children of now are asking from us. As always. Dr. Meg shares her messages from her heart which enables everyone who reads this book to open their own. Thank you Dr. Meg for this very honest and enlightening book.

I will have to preface this review by saying that the book's title is almost a misnomer. Yes, its focus is geared toward the unique challenges of parenting our precious children in today's society, but the book offers so much more. It boldly asks the Reader to unapologetically address his or her own issues so that true, inner transormation can impact every aspect of one's own life, of which parenting is a most crucial part.

I recently brought a copy of this book to a local coffee shop for my reading pleasure. A woman I had never met sat in the seat next to me, and asked if she could peruse the book while she waited to meet a friend. She seemed fairly uninterested in the book' subject matter at first glance, most likely because she had already raised children, and that phase of her life was now over. After about 15 minutes of skimming through its contents, this total stranger commented to me that she had certainly read her share of "self-help" books over the years, but her short time with this book blew her away! (I'm using her words). She then took down the title and author's name so that she could order a copy from home.

Personally, I am a young, single adult male with no children, and I can unequivocally say that the book's themes are universal. Dr. Meg writes with a fresh, "in-your-face" and heart-centered approach, arguably from her own personal experiences since "Conversations with the Children of Now" was written.
One could easily spend weeks working with the material presented in the introduction of the book alone. You need not have read "The Children of Now" or "Conversations with the Children of Now" to find resonance with this new material.

Parenting the Children of Now: Practicing Health, Spirit, and Awareness to Transcend Generations

Meg Blackburn,PhD, author and mentor, is timely and spot on for using spirituality and well-being as basis that parenthood and childhood are actual aspects of the other, no longer seen as separate ("I am the parent and you are the child..."), but as complementary earth experiences, fostering mutual self-discovery for parent and children of now.

Through, her book, "Parenting the Children of Now: Practicing Health, Spirit, and Awareness to Transcend Generations," Meg offers keen insight through short stories, life-like scenarios, and practical exercises, which inspire sustainable intuitive experiences to nurture the parent-child's entire sacred journey.

According to Meg's book, parenting children (of now) is no longer a mystifying responsibility, but a blessing and opportunity to keep the inner intuitive 'child(ren) of now' vital and accessible to us all as a source of wisdom and guidance our whole life through.

Thanks Meg, for a brilliant perspective, and a splendid job!
