I thought this set was great. especially when you have other trick tracks. it comes with one car, and it is a very good one. the only downside was that the car doesn’t always complete the power loop and crashes to the floor. but overall, this set is great for a hot wheels lover or anybody else interested with speed and model cars

We’ve had this toy for about a year now and have managed to get it to actually work perhaps twice. And it isn’t any sort of operator error. I am a design engineer by day and am 100% positive that it is correctly assembled. Even with brand new batteries cars most often simply fall of the track – usually before getting around the loop once. We tried the car that came with the set as well as all the several dozen cars we already owned. There are evidently huge variations between sets because one of his little friends has one that works virtually all the time, and with many different cars. Because he sees his friends work right from time to time, he insists on breaking his out and trying it again, then asks me to “make it work”. Way worse than useless.

Unfortunately the cars don’t loop around very much and usually fall out, so my 4.5 year old isn’t very happy with it and I am less than impressed. If it wasn’t part of a big package of hotwheels stuff I would return it. I think it’s very lame because it doesn’t work well. Two thumbs down.

I am not impressed with the functionality of this toy. The cars do go around the loop ONCE but then these little, hard, metal cars literally SHOOT out the other end – VERY DANGEROUS! This toy does NOT always work and needs a lot of batteries that run out quickly. I do NOT recommend this toy for anyone.
