I really thought this toy was great when i sat down in the store and played with it. When my 4 year old got it and we pulled the plastic thingy out of the back it was horrible. she was so frustrated that she could only write the letter once and i don’t think it did anything to correct her if she wrote it wrong. and what is the bottom for? an eraseable pen was not included. then all the extra things you could do were kind of pointless. Oh an all the letters surrounding the bottom do nothing… when the toy says press a button you can only press the ones on the top. ????? Don’t know what i saw in it the day i played with it!!!

the thing i thought was cool was the light up area to follow the correct lines, but even that wasn’t slow enough or even fast enough to help… i don’t know… not happy with this learning toy! I’m sure there is something better out there i just haven’t found it yet. :-(

Let me know if you do!!

My 2.5-year-old son does not play it the way he should. But he likes it.

My son received this for Christmas last year. I really liked it and thought he could get a lot of practice writing with this as he was 3 at the time and just learning letters. He quickly got bored with it and in the past year he has played with it maybe once a month for about 5 minutes.

The concept of the toy is great it just doesn’t hold the attention of an active 4, almost 5 year old.

This was a Christmas gift for a 3 year old. She is very interested in learning to write her letter and numbers. This allows her to copy and write her letters and numbers by herself. I think this toy will also be good for her 2 year old brother in a few months.
