I bought it as a joke for my husband who is worried about someday having to style our newborn daughters hair. It is much smaller than the one I had as a girl. It’s kind of hard to keep the head still when you are combing/styling because there is no weight to keep it steady. But…as a former barbie girl it was still fun to play with!

My daughter loves this and she is getting the opportunity to learn how to do different hairstyles. Only two problems – the base is not real heavy so it tips over easily while you are combing the hair. Secondly, would be nice if there was some type of storage compartment to put the accessories in.
