She was excited over being able to play the game with the Elina doll. I did have a little trouble getting it programmed but once I reset it and made sure that I was holding the DVD remote control to the white light instead of the red light on her necklace, everything went smoothly. This concept of using the doll as the remote in the game is interesting and enticing to children, (well, to my daughter anyway). But the game itself is extremely lacking. There is no depth to it. All you do is turn your doll to the left or right to go to different places where you are given the stones for the crown in which the stones had been stolen from. There is no challenge, you simply go to these places and the stones are given to you. So there really is no "game". The doll itself is pretty and her wings will flutter with a push of a button. The outfit is more colorful and less gimmicky than the previous Elina dolls too. This doll doesn't have the grotesque swollen head found on the Glee and Sunburst dolls.
