The material seems like it will be easy to clean. My 2 1/2 yr. old granddaughter loves the 24" Shrek. He is her new found friend. He is light enough for her to carry around and big enough that she has a pretend playmate. We are so happy that we purchased Shrek for her. It isn't an educational toy or I would have given Shrek 5 stars. Rating: 4 / 5 Shrek is well made and durable. The material seems like it will be easy to clean.
